Adapt workstations
At K•LINE, there are working groups that work on adapting workstations so that an employee with disabilities can continue to do their job. For example, an employee who is gradually losing his sight has benefitted from Agefiph support to make his workstation safe for him, for example, by adding floor markings. His work colleagues have also been trained to help him, a true network of support that extends to car sharing so that he can get to the site every morning.
Work with organisations with social value
The LIEBOT Group regularly works with specialised organisations to train and restore the confidence of people who feel alienated from the workplace. Employees of the Atelier du Bocage also repackage parcels and accessories sent with our joinery products, and recondition wooden pallets for K•LINE and MéO. WIBAIE is also developing a partnership with Fondation AMIPI, which works with people with cognitive disabilities, during several phases of reintegration to help them familiarise themselves with industrial operations, schedules, safety constraints, etc., so that they can eventually join the company.
Offer job opportunities for everyone
A housing association in Nantes contacted WIBAIE about two young homeless people seeking to turn their lives around. We interviewed them and directly hired them on a permanent contract, which is unusual for production positions, as we more often than not include an interim period, but this made it easier for them to find local accommodation. We also paid for two months' hotel accommodation for them during their search.

Provide support with reintegration
Since 2021, the LIEBOT Group has supported the Toit à Moi association which helps homeless people turn their lives around by offering them accommodation and helping them with reintegration. This scheme is unique because it purchases the homes in which it welcomes people in distress and offers them personalised support to help them rebuild their lives. Thanks to the support of nine sponsors in the Vendée region, there are also six apartments (two in Herbiers and four in la Roche-Sur-Yon) that were bought and renovated, meaning Toit à Moi has already helped 11 people in difficulty.
Relieve physical workloads
PaX is currently testing an “Iron Hand” exoskeleton to help its employees. The physical assistance device perfectly follows the operator’s movements and relieves them of certain tasks, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and compensating for physical effort by reducing physical loads.
