The people behind the group, the family

Behind the LIEBOT Group is first and foremost a history of entrepreneurial families from the Vendée region. Firstly, the Briand family, whose blacksmith abilities have passed from father to son for eight generations, took the brave decision to reinvent themselves in order to continue their trade. Then there is the Liébot family, with its founding Chairman, André Liébot, who, through his clear vision and often bold choices, has developed and diversified our companies for over 50 years to make us the leading window and façade Group in France, and a leading European company operating in five countries.

On 1 January 2023, André Liébot handed over chairmanship of the Group to his son, Jean-Pierre, who has been with K•LINE since 2000 and Vice Chairman since 2019. Alongside his two sisters and brother, this is the 10th generation to take the helm of this family chronicle. The LIEBOT Group is majority-owned by the Liébot family, as well as the Briand family (minority), with a fully family-owned Board of Directors, which is very close to the group’s Executive Committee so as to be closely involved in company life and decision-making.
